At Meridian we pride our selves on being truly Holistic in our approach to natural health care. For over 28years we have run a centre in Devon. I started the centre after my first husband died in a car accident. As a nutritionist it seemed only natural to add a Health Shop, then a fitness studio and later a Beauty Salon. We also held clinics all over England, Scotland and Wales.
In the year 2000 I met Gary and together we expanded our horizons in many different ways, studying different therapies adding other Qualified therapist to our team and extending our mobile clinics, which we now hold all over Europe.
This site is just one of the ways we offer help to people and the environment, you will also find here links to our other sites, and those of our associates.
Gary and I married in 2004 and started a new project. We both had a dream, to run a Residential Complementary Therapy Centre, with room to run seminars, workshops, and courses. We sold the building in which we had our centre, but kept the Health food business running in rented premises. We found an amazing place in the beautiful Alcaraz Mountains of Spain to build our residential centre and bought it.
In 2006 we moved our Health Shop into new larger premises in a prime position in our little town. It has taken us almost four years to get all the building licences etc, for the Mountain that we have bought in Spain. So we have now sold our business in Devon and are about to move to Spain to start the new residential clinic. We will still be running our clinics all over Europe and have put everything else that we offer on line.
We will be offering treatments and hope to offer accommodation at La Chaparrosa in 2010. At first we will be offering accommodation in authentic Mongolian Yurt's until the building is finished.
